Honoring Sandy Herrold

In writing this post I pondered whether or not I should start out with the great news at how many matching OTW donations have arrived at our door in the last 8 hours or something somber about the late, great Sandy Herrold -- and then realized that she would've wanted me to be smarter and more humorous than that. So there you go -- do better! Do more! Do stuff!

In all honesty, we're amazed at the number of donations that have rolled in over the last 8 hours. We're already US$2405 of the way to our $3k matching grant. And we're humbled to say that we've received an additional $2k matching grant contribution in honor of Sandy Herrold.

Sandy Herrold was many things to many people in many fandoms and we encourage you to not only spread the word in raising matching donations in her name but to take a few minutes to read or contribute to her Fanlore page.
