Society for Cinema & Media Studies Conference
By .minervacat on Sunday, 2 January 2011 - 5:27pmMessage type:Tags:In honor of the resilient spirit of our host city, this year’s conference theme will be "Media Citizenship.” We are interested in work that explores how changes in all forms of media, both new and old, have had an enormous impact on the conditions of equality, citizenship, and survival in the United States and around the world. Considerations of the constraints, conditions, and possibilities that subtend media citizenship on radio, television, film, and digital media are encouraged, as are analyses of how citizenship does or does not differ for individuals, communities, and corporations. http://www.cmstudies.org/
