This is the largest fan-convention for Japanese youth and pop culture in Austria. Begun in 2001 the con is run under the auspices of the non-profit The AniManga Assocation Austria - Working Group Japanese youth culture, which has the aim of reducing prejudices toward foreign cultures. Supported by a team of 100 volunteers, by 2011 around 7000 people were attending the con. The 2012 event is being held at the Technical University of Vienna.
